Become a SHAC Artist

Emerging Artists

The SHAC is passionate about helping new artists get a step up. We have experienced artists associated with The SHAC who are happy to mentor and we are offering special discounts for emerging artists wanting to exhibit at The SHAC.

Share a Studio

We also provide the option for artists to share studio spaces if this is their preferred option. We can happily facilitate this for you or if you have a friend you’d like to share with, please get in touch and we will look at available options.

Please email us at enquiries@theshac.com.au with your request. It would be helpful if you also send your background and a few examples of your work.

Become a SHAC Volunteer

10am - 1pm or 1pm - 4pm - Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

If you are interested, please email our Gallery Manager, Julie York on enquiries@theshac.com.au

Join The SHAC Committee

The SHAC is a not for profit, run by volunteers. We are a small dedicated group, determined to help make this a vibrant and interesting place for the public to visit, attend classes and workshops, and meet the artists and view them working.

We need a few more passionate people to join our committee, we are particularly in need of people with some skill set in Marketing, PR, Social Media, Event Management or membership development. We can help train up people if they have limited experience, but are keen to learn. We meet fortnightly, and have events, exhibition openings, meet the artist evenings, that we encourage you to participate in.

If interested, please contact our President, Patsy Peacock at patsy@theshac.com.au
